
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 8th Annual
911 Power to the Peaceful Festival on September 9th at Speedway
Meadow in Golden Gate Park!
The 911 PTTP Festival is a Free Not-for-Profit Community
Music and Arts Event with Live Performances by event founder
Michael Franti and Spearhead, Blackalicous,
Flipsyde, Los Mocosos, New
Monsoon, Sila and the AfroFunk Experience,
Brett Dennon and much more!! In addition
to 2 stages and a DJ Tent, the event features open-air art
gallery and live muralist, a healing arts tent, yoga, guerrilla
theater, green commercial vendors and food booths, an eco
village, kid’s zone, bicycle coalition, recycling program
and a diverse array of social, environmental and political
organizations tabling.
Many facets of this event are volunteer-run. It takes people
like you, devoting time, skills and energy to produce the
911 Power to the Peaceful Festival every year. Get involved!

to educate, enrage, enlighten & inspire!!
